NORTH CHRLESTON— The man was shot and killed on Sightline Drive on June 25 has been identified.
According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers responded to the scene, located off Palmetto Commerce Parkway, at approximately 7:45 a.m.
The Charleston County Coroner's office identified the victim as 21-year-old Dominick Mays of Walterboro.
According to the incident report released June 26, two Charleston County Sheriff's deputies administered CPR to Mays, who was found lying on the ground outside with visible gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
According to the report, North Charleston police collected statements from witnesses, including Boeing employees who work in an adjacent building. Police believe the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
